Checking Out Other Sports

We are a big sports family.  We enjoy watching about every sport out there.  We have friends who participate in sports, and we really enjoy being able to watch them play.  Recently, we went to a friend's hockey game.  It was a blast.  I have to say, those girls make it look really easy!

Life's Challenges

In the last few months, my in-laws got a new puppy.  They have never had a puppy in their house, and while Reba is adorable, she is a handful.

My boys are not very helpful when it comes to training the puppy.  Puppies and children are easily distracted, and when they get together, it's all about fun.  Like my children, Reba doesn't like the word "no" all that much, and she has learned how to block it out.  The kids and the dog really enjoy running around and getting into things.

On the bright side, as both the kids and the dog get older, they'll settle down.  Of course, the dog will get there much faster than the boys!

Newest YA

Although this may be a little old for some of these kids who read this blog, here is my alter ego's latest YA book.  For more information, you can check out Pembroke Sinclair's blog, but here's the book information for you.  It's available at Amazon.

Katie wants to invest her heart and soul in love, but she may lose both to Hell.

Katie, a senior in high school, is torn between loving the “good” guy, her childhood friend Wes who makes promises he doesn't keep and abandons her when she needs him the most, and the “bad” guy, the new kid at school Josh who is also a real demon from Hell. Katie wants someone who pays attention to her and puts her first, but what is she willing to give up to find him?

Working Hard and Having Fun

The boys have been in wrestling for a year now.  They have their love/hate relationship with it.  They love to be physical and go to tournaments, but they hate going to practice.  Once we get there, they're fine, but they would  much rather sit at home and play video games.  What kid wouldn't?

We are those mean parents that don't allow them to sit around the house, though.  We make them get up, get out, and participate in sports.  Like I said, once they get to practice, they are just fine.  And they are good wrestlers.  The best part is that we get to hang out as a family.
